Howdy! If you’re looking at this, you probably already know what it is. Robin made some excellent guitars throughout the 80s and 90s, with earlier examples such as this made in Japan. Robin saw its fame in this era with use by a handful of high profile artists such as SRV and Jimmie Vaughan, and Eric Johnson.
This particular guitar is quite unique, with an offset body, Strat pickup and switching configuration ras well as a tremolo, and a wonderfully shaped neck reminiscent of a 60s Fender in profile and heft. The rosewood slab board is dark, looks great, and feels awesome. The vintage style slotted tuners work as they should. The pickups all measure in the mid 5k range - right where you'd want them for OG Strat tones - and feature nice grey bottoms and cloth wiring.
This one is in great shape functionally and cosmetically, with virtually no signs of use. The frets show only slight wear, and overall this is as clean of an example as you could hope to find.
It has been detailed and setup with D’Addario 9-42s, receiving a fret polish and fretboard oil. It is all set and ready to be enjoyed!
