Up for grabs is a very cool and somewhat hard to find MIM Strat! The Standard Satin was made from 2003-2006, and features a unique flat Midnight Blue finish; which not only gives the guitar a distinct look, but also resists swirling and fingerprints better than a gloss finish. This one not only looks awesome but plays great as well!

Specs are as to be expected for a mid 2000's MIM Standards, with 9.5" radius rosewood fretboard with 21 medium frets, 25.5" scale length, 6 screw vintage-style tremolo, and 5- way selector controlling the 3 single coils. The neck is a speedy C shape, which feels great in the hand without too much heft. The pickups sound nice with a good low end, and the electronics all work as they should.

Cosmetically it is in nice shape, with only a few dings and marks/wear from play, and overall it presents quite well. There are some strum marks on the top and pickguard that present themselves more in direct lighting (see photo) but generally aren’t very noticeable - and this is the same with some mild buckle rash on the back. There is a finish check in the neck pocket area, and this is cosmetic ONLY and poses no structural threat. This is quite common on bolt ons, particularly ones with thick finishes like this.

It has been cleaned and setup with a string height of around 5/64" at the 12th fret, and it is very comfortable to play! The frets have been polished, and this one is gig ready.

No trem arm.
