Super cool Fender Blacktop Tele in an attractive Candy Apple Red! These were one of the more interesting guitars of Fender‘s lineup - with special Alnico humbuckers, spaghetti logo, witch hat knobs, and a comfortable belly carve. If you’re looking for a juiced up Tele, this is for you!
With typical fender specs including a 9.5” radius rosewood fretboard, comfortable C profile neck, and Hardtail bridge - this one will feel right at home. The pickups sound quite nice; with enough output for higher gain applications, as well as blues, jazz, and everything in between. This one is a lot of fun, and would make an excellent stage companion.
Cosmetically it is in nice shape, with some minor signs of use from over the years to include marks on the pick guard and control plate, and a bit of finish swirling/miscellaneous small marks - although it does present quite well and has a nice shine. There are no major dings or chips in the poly, and on the stand it looks great.
It has received a setup with D’Addario 9-42s, and feels great to play with a string height of around .060“ at the 12th fret. The fretboard has been hydrated, and it is all set for a new owner.
